Analyst Actions: AMZN, BAC, T, BHI, DGW, SNE


Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN): William Blair on Thursday upgraded its rating on the company to Outperform from market perform. In a research note to clients, the firm said "Amazon.com's pricing to the consumer is superior to Target.com and Walmart.com, as we found the retailers charge higher shipping fees on identical items." Amazon shares rallied more than 3% in morning trading.

Bank of America (NYSE: BAC): FBR Capital this morning lowered its rating on the company to Market Perform from Outperform. The firm also cut its price target on the stock to $15 from $18.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T): Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. upgraded its rating to Outperform from Market Perform. 

Baker Hughes Incorporated (NYSE: BHI): UBS on Thursday upgraded the company to Buy from Neutral. 

Duoyuan Global Water Inc (NYSE: DGW): Rodman & Renshaw downgraded its rating on the stock to Market Perform  from Outperform.

Sony Corporation (NYSE: SNE): Deutsche Bank upgraded its rating on the company to Buy from Hold.
